What is your quirky novel title? The [current mood] + [object to your right] of [grandmother's first name] + [last thing you ate]. Mine is 'The Weary Wine Glass of Winifred Biryani'

Travelled into central London by train. Many maskless people. No noticeable encouragement from rail companies. I’m sure announcements would encourage at least a few more people to act responsibly.

#BeyondRavilious: Tirzah Garwood, was Eric Ravilious’ wife. They met when she was a student at Eastbourne College, married Eric in 1930 & a dozen years later was a war widow. Her work continued, and she deserves to be better known. [thread] https://t.co/Ob4SmyCDKF

I have lit a candle. It is officially autumn. I’ve also been ice skating, but I might have gone a little early with that one.

A lovely find in Streatham’s @TheBHF bookshop. I rarely make it out of the shop empty-handed. https://t.co/mn3EDVRtsO

Unable to resist whistling along to Tchaikovsky from @BBCPhilharmonic @bbcproms. I hope the neighbours are enjoying my accompaniment. *This is unlikely

First time back on bus and tube and I seem to have lost the ability to scamper down a flight of stairs on a moving vehicle.

So special to see everyone back in @RoyalAlbertHall @bbcproms last night. Huge congratulations to the wonderful musicians @BBCSO & @BBCSingers, @oramsa, @nic_chalmers, @HannahKendall _ and all the brilliant people who worked so hard to make it happen.
