I love Australians; the people. I hate the frightening country's grotesque, almost absurdly scary (and sometimes fatal) wildlife. I will never visit there, despite the cool people and scenic beauty. Too much of this.⬇️ #Australia https://t.co/OxHTbO2VaL

"Should we burn the house down?" A mother in Australia found in her daughter's room what can only be described as too many spiders. https://t.co/i7Rrb8xcMg https://t.co/sUka3I5exf

Rest In Peace, Larry King. I think all of us thought he was immortal. You know, back in the 80s he had a severe heart attack or something similar. He took care of himself after that - gave up smoking and the bad food - and lived another 40+ years. It's never too late to change. https://t.co/u6RT38nIBG

Ugh, and the movie is almost 20 years old, not 2. What a crappy typo, LOL

5) "Insomnia" is a great cinematic text on the classic subject of Never Meet Your Heroes. Besides some slightly confusing bits with ballistics, I couldn't find a single thing wrong with this excellent film. END #ChristopherNolan #cinema https://t.co/Xh92kIjJUI

4) I don't think so, and the rather unearned raves for big studio projects like "Inception" and - once again, especially - "Interstellar" have blunted Nolan's edge.

3) Everyone has crawled up Nolan's butt since "The Dark Knight" and especially "Interstellar", but has he really crafted a cinematic experience that was tighter and more satisfying than either "Memento" (98) or "Insomnia" (02)?

2) It's just so clean, in almost all aspects: perfect setting (Alaska), great performances, good plot borrowed from the Norwegian film of the same name, and zero pretension.

1) Just watched a near-2-year-old movie now, "Insomnia", by Christopher Nolan. It may still be his best movie. https://t.co/7YSbIOmmFq

LMAO, Ted Cruz doesn't know what the "Paris Climate Agreement" is. He thinks it's about Paris' climate, evidently https://t.co/7ICi5xj556

By rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden indicates he’s more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh. This agreement will do little to affect the climate and will harm the livelihoods of Americans.

Reporters are returning to being absolutely f*cking annoying. Joe Biden, the elitist. Because of an exercise bike. My contempt for the New York Times just never goes away, you know? Trump profiting from being president? A minor item. But PELOTON OH MY GOD. 😡 #JoeBiden #Peloton https://t.co/xOBq4Mg7EN

To all the smart people: you really don't have to talk about the "1776 Report." In fact, do us all a favor, eh?

New Yorkers being New Yorkers again. Meaning, the only people in existence. No weird skinny guys, no guys with huge beards, no conspiracy theorists ANYWHERE ELSE but in #NewYork. When lockdown is over, please take a vacation, New Yorkers. Big world out there. https://t.co/gmTTu9sya4

The Nets have now acquired all three types of Brooklyn guy; a weirdly skinny guy, a guy with a huge beard, and a guy who’s obsessed with astrology and conspiracy theories.

Second thought on Bill - I think the Oversimplified series is so popular because Wurtz only made two history videos. The guy who runs the Oversimplified channel saw there was a market that Wurtz had stopped filling

Bill Wurtz is not fully back until the video's title starts with "History of ... " If he made a history of a country, any country, right now, the internet would go absolutely bonkers.

I've lived long enough to think the years 1978-1982 were the most interesting cultural times of my life. Pop/rock music? Totally in flux. Disco not dying so much as morphing. New Wave. Movies still made by auteurs, just before the bean counters ruined everything again.

Definitely my favorite account to RT (and sometimes QT) right now. They're so unhinged, the #maga. This drawing! Imagine if Crumb was a total idiot or whatever https://t.co/X8vxe7ippt
