I encourage you to catch up on our conversations by picking up a paper or tuning in to the radio.

Thanks to Caleb Vierkant at the Wrangell Sentinel, Michelle O'Brien at KTKN, John Tierney at the Copper River Record, Greg Knight at KINY, and Scott Yahr at KCAM for their excellent questions on energy development, infrastructure, economic opportunity, and much more. https://t.co/IpQSUr2etn

It's been a busy swing through the Copper River Basin and Southeast! I always appreciate the opportunity to update Alaskans directly on the issues facing Congress; one of the best ways to do that is through radio and print. https://t.co/aR7fmqHtDm

Thank you to Rear Adm Bell and everyone who helped make this visit possible. God Bless our Coast Guard!

I especially appreciated the chance to meet with some of the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard, and I am proud of the work they do in our state and am proud of the role they’ll play as the Arctic’s global profile continues to grow.

America is an Arctic nation because of Alaska. As the area changes in the decades ahead, we must be ready to protect America’s national security and economic interests in the region; FRCs will be central to this goal.

Countless families in our state depend on the ocean to make a living, and FRCs are a critical tool for ensuring that our waters are safe and navigable.

It was my great honor to join Rear Admiral Matthew Bell aboard the USCGC Bailey Barco today in Juneau. I have been a long-time advocate of homeporting Fast Response Cutters (FRCs) like the Bailey Barco in Alaska. https://t.co/gzjxfArOPO

It’s always great being back in Southeast! Just wrapped up an interview with @CalebVierkant of the Wrangell Sentinel. We covered a range of issues such as transportation funding, tourism, and COVID-19 relief. Thanks for a great discussion Caleb! @WrgSentinel https://t.co/OW5FLNHwQS

I want to extend my sincere congratulations to the winners and thank everyone who helped make this amazing event possible!

It was my honor to participate in this year's Annual Duck Race, which raises thousands of dollars to support youth and elders, education, outdoor recreation, and more. Although we couldn't see everyone in person for the race, I'm grateful for everyone who tuned in virtually.

The First City Rotary Club has been a central part of Ketchikan for over 30 years. I've always appreciated the ways they engage Alaskans of all ages, and encourage them to get involved in civic life. https://t.co/mG0r7bGEgv

244 years ago, a new nation steeped in the values of liberty and freedom was born. As we celebrate our independence, I hope you’ll join me in remembering those who have laid down their lives to help keep our country free. Happy Independence Day, Alaska! On #NationalPostalWorkerDay, we recognize the men and women of @USPS who work hard to keep us connected — in Alaska and across the country! https://t.co/Ja9X77LI3h

A new bipartisan bill from @RepDMP and @repdonyoung provides $3 billion to restore coastal bird habitat, create jobs, and reduce climate risks for vulnerable coastal communities. https://t.co/FY6RuWsj5H

Democrats' My Way or the Highway bill is nothing more than a liberal wish list that leaves rural areas like AK behind. As fmr T&I Chairman, I know what it takes to get an infrastructure bill done. Frankly, @TransportDems are wasting time on a bill that's going nowhere fast. #HR2 https://t.co/EYyxCPMarX

The House should be bringing her statehood legislation to the Floor instead of wasting time and resources on this partisan D.C. bill.
