It’s time, ⁦@WNBA⁩. You can’t say you support #BlackLivesMatter and #Pride and continue to allow Kelly Loeffler to co-own the Atlanta Dream https://t.co/ImSZqRwB0O

“Who is Karen?”

From a Nextdoor post about towing someone for parking the wrong way on a residential streets. https://t.co/cDajvwzkQP

Today marks one month since Sean Monterrosa was fatally shot by a Vallejo police officer. The Vallejo Police Department has yet to confirm the officer's name or release body cam video of the shooting. The @ACLU_NorCal sent this letter to the city: https://t.co/BU1itN33Z7

It took Vallejo Police *more than a year* to release Officer Ryan McMahon's body camera footage from his deadly pursuit of Ronell Foster, who he attempted to stop for riding a bike without a light in 2018. https://t.co/sfYDrAVwBX

Inbox jumping today because some Catholics are upset I'm still writing about racism in the church. But there's this: Yesterday, an Indiana priest was suspended for comparing #BlackLivesMatter to “maggots and parasites.” Lord help us. https://t.co/9eJDxfNcJi

White Catholics, including priests, emailed to say that Fr. Aidan was wrong, out of line. Making it about Fr. Aidan ignores the voices of the Black Catholics who were quoted. Fr. Aidan had his awakening BECAUSE of his parishioners. They educated him.

This uprising started when Fr. Aidan McAleenan, the white priest of St. Columba's Catholic Church, a predominantly Black church on San Pablo Avenue, called the Catholic Church and Oakland's bishop racist. https://t.co/yEcXVbDPwS

The Catholic Church is once again preaching a commitment to address racism. Black Catholics in Oakland are making sure it happens this time. https://t.co/8oJLYOUM9K

"What would Jesus do if the sheep in his flock begged him to address systemic racism?" Another great column by @otisrtaylorjr about how Oakland's Black Catholics "refuse to let institutions deny, deflect or dismiss systemic racism." https://t.co/egn7sMcm3c

Thank you @otisrtaylorjr for continuing to write about racism in the Diocese of Oakland and for asking me to contribute to this crucial conversation about how the church can change. https://t.co/W1qTWPtHkt

Trying to share a better link to the NYT Profile. Sorry for the duplication. https://t.co/y2267iOI6L

Glad the New York Times is writing about the San Quentin outbreak, but it’s irritating that they didn’t credit our initial @sfchronicle story on the botched transfer. @meganrcassidy and I reported it 3 weeks ago. https://t.co/nULeqRGbG5 https://t.co/yirMkpIPn0

"If you believe Black lives matter, I urge you not to lose sight of the economic devastation facing marginalized communities because of the pandemic." — @OtisRTaylorJr. https://t.co/944JKGiQFG

The president ran his mouth about Oakland and other cities with large Black populations. The president talks like he has a hood covering his face. Some thoughts. https://t.co/xA06AMdeV4

No, it really isn't a wonder that Black and Latinx Californians can't afford housing and have lower wages still some 10 years after the Great Recession & before #COVID19. Policymakers made their choices very clear. https://t.co/8BhehTCQt8

Read this from @otisrtaylorjr all the way to its knockout kicker: https://t.co/zDGqptkhad

Scoop from @kdoctor: "Leaders in the field of nonprofit journalism are deciding over the next 48 hours whether or not to make a bid for all of @mcclatchy, sources tell me." The idea: create the country's first major nonprofit newspaper chain. https://t.co/UoF082BnjG

so here's what i think happened: someone told trump to say people should vote for him cuz he has experience but that didn't square with his idea of talent vs experience so he goes on to show he didn't have experience but now he does. Still don't know why he visited DC 17 times
