4. You have to realise that Twitter is not anyone else's father's house. Yes. Do not let any1 dictate what you write on your own account - only the law, bounds of decency, informed opinion& your conscience should dictate, not random weirdos. Strengthen your mental middle finger.

Seems Jack is feeling the heat. Inconsistency in policy application will only cause more harm than good in the long run. Hopeful for bluesky.

At this rate, Joe Biden may just become the most protected US president ever with heightened risks, home and abroad

We read stories that trend and are hence amplified. Before we share them and add our voices - have we considered all the possible consequences of fueling issues we know a fraction about because it’s popular that day?! Very false sense of power here, a lot damage being done daily

The whole world backed NATO’s actions. And I’m pretty sure that if we had social media, the mob would have rallied around ending Milosevic. But none of these people ever got to see the faces of the young kids running for dear life when the danger siren went off

@BBGAfrica This is the sort of #African story that feeds stereotypical narratives. They refer to 3 or 4 of the 54 countries, focus on the negative, highlight poverty and prioritize where things are going wrong. @BBGAfrica you can do better! @africanofilter #narrativematters

So so intriguing to catch up with my Ugandan friends, including a local King, and get their thoughts on the election. Makes you realize how much social media and Western media pick a narrative and run with it. Wishing my UG brothers and sisters a peaceful election 🙏🏾

Love and prayers to all our friends and family still down with Covid19, you will be back stronger and better.
