On Wednesday, we all watched the events unfolding in our nation’s capital in horror.

Even though the man who incited that insurrectionist attack on the U.S. Capitol will soon be out of office, we have hard work to do to repair our struggling democracy, heal our wounds, & establish politics based on love for each other rather than fear, hate, and corruption.

@ossoff You know what’s sad? B/C of these insurrections and riots, Dems have been robbed of enjoying and basking in the win from GA. How black people and brown people came out in droves and won The majority for us. We should be talking about congratulating our two new senators.

@ossoff @SeanFlan45 I’m sorry the events that took place have overshadowed the historic election that took place in Georgia! We are so proud and relieved. Can’t wait for you both to be sworn in. 👏🏽

@ossoff I watched the events with anger. It was clear there was no attempt to stop the crowd from entering the Capitol Building. On the contrary, in some cases, the cops were actively inviting people in. This was a fake "storming." Don't think we don't know that. https://t.co/ISae2O2jT9

Capitol police open doors for the protestors. They stand aside and invite them inside. https://t.co/OnSd3KGzz5
