@nytimes I really do wish I had some positive things to say about him but I can't think of one. Not one. He wasn't just "controversial," he was deeply polarizing and actively promoted intolerance. I cannot abide what he did or pretend his legacy is anything but abhorrent.
All the Republicans who are facing punishment for doing the right thing should consider switching to Independents or Democrats, because the GOP no longer represents America or Americans, they only represent trumpism.
