@nytimes Covid is a tragedy PERIOD. This was a failure at the FEDERAL level to address the crisis with one unified response. These reporters should speak to healthcare workers and facilities to see what the options were for them for where to release these patients. FED GOVT fucked it up.

@nytimes My heart goes out to her family. The covid in the nursing homes is a sign of breakdown in protocols. Were the caregivers being tested? Were sick caregivers being forced to work because they couldn't miss a day? Were ppe equipment available to caregivers?
