Reminder that Republicans in the State Legislature called a last minute meeting last week not to ban evictions during a pandemic, but to mandate that tenants pay late fees. https://t.co/FgrE92HWyo https://t.co/YRKjByrONT

.@repvos goes to work only when he wants something for himself. @repvos is a landlord "legislator" who strips tenant rights and harms Wisconsinites on a daily basis. https://t.co/GmnO0LZ5uX

.@SenRonJohnson withdraws amendment swapping Columbus Day holiday for a day off to honor Juneteenth. In its place he is proposing to have both holidays by reducing paid leave days federal employees receive, to offset the cost of a new Juneteenth holiday.

Senator that voted for a deficit exploding tax cut in 2018 is now concerned about the cost of adding a federal holiday. https://t.co/9VkNox6LbF

There is no way to review John Roberts’ career on voting rights and conclude he is anything but a tool of James E. Crow, Esq. https://t.co/72ehaM29OF

I said it before and I’ll say it again: I call on local ad agencies to spend their money with local media instead of social media advertising. There’s more than print there. Take some time to get to know your local media options.

This is so important! If you’re applauding large companies for suspending their advertising with Facebook due to recent revelations, you should be looking to local outlets to advertise rather than Facebook. Now more than ever, support local. https://t.co/dZUVj7RtqT

we ask that you worry less about people protesting and more about how you, your family, and your friends can change their social behavior to slow the spread of the virus. We also ask that you consider your assumptions.

This Facebook post from a solider at Fort McCoy offers a look at daily racism in small town Wisconsin. Also a powerful example of the need to listen. https://t.co/xIFg8DZuMd https://t.co/pPe3SGiPMK

Never underestimate the need to simply listen when it comes to these issues. https://t.co/lLrzMrhJRk

BREAKING: Pharma is suing to block Minnesota's new insulin access law. The Alec Smith Insulin Affordability Act was passed in honor of a 26-year-old who died rationing insulin. The law would've taken effect today. Pharma's fighting it during a pandemic. Beyond unconscionable. https://t.co/vzfBqPD3fo

Not a good look for @PhRMA. Insulin was patented in 1923 and sold for $1.00 for the public good. Now you are ripping off consumers almost 100 years later and suing to keep doing so. Shame! https://t.co/nlcTdLDMST

A reminder to anyone fapping on this swap holidays story from noting Free Ride @SenRonJohnson: He didn’t give a single fuck about the deficit when he extorted a special tax break for himself during the budget annihilating Trump tax cuts for the rich...and corporate media.

Awesome news! So maybe Dane County should immediately permit the local bars to have outdoor events so they can keep their doors open and not go out of business. What would the rationale be for saying no if nothing really happened b/c of the protests? https://t.co/kgSEa3WplM

Assembly Maj. Leader ignores spikes of COVID-19 in Dane Co, most likely due to young people going to bars, and recommends **checks notes** go to bars... Maybe you should use that title and actually legislate during this crisis. This isn’t a Dane Co problem. It’s a WI problem. https://t.co/YmgK1czWwv

The fact there hasn’t been a massive restaurant bailout at really any level during this pandemic is an enormous political failure.

Getting lots of tweets and emails saying the recent increase in cases in Dane County must be because of protests. Public health officials said today just 12 people are associated with the demonstrations.

My coworker & I were fired from Michelangelo’s Coffee House after expressing discomfort working in a store with no mask policy and attempting to implement one. Businesses need to stop prioritizing profits over safety and take this pandemic seriously. The story is below: https://t.co/N3JdQNgpgN

Just in case you thought that both sides want transparency in our elections. This is not just a Trump problem, Senate Republicans need to face the consequences this fall at the ballot box. https://t.co/1mkU5OScMh

.@citizenactionwi at 5pm. Monday's decision stems primarily from a case brought by two liberal groups, One Wisconsin Institute and Citizen Action of Wisconsin Education Fund, that challenged more than a dozen election policies, including the voter ID law. https://t.co/RC7TLfxoUF

Sen. Rand Paul accused Dr. Anthony Fauci and others of focusing too much on the risks at a Senate hearing on COVID-19. Paul: "All I hear, Dr. Fauci, is, 'We can't do this, we can't do that. We can't play baseball.'" Fauci: "The only thing I can do is ... give you the facts." https://t.co/AfwwCWgwYz
