Best parts of “West 68th Street Little Lies” or whatever its called:,Nicole Kidman’s accent slips, the auction apartment that looks like a Lufthansa lounge, bizarre Four Seasons score. Send up of private schools a bit on the nose.

On today’s Daily: an acid-flash back retelling of the 2000 election night, the last time we had a contested outcome of a presidential race. The great @jimrutenberg on what Ds and Rs learned from the experience and how they are applying those lessons today https://t.co/pU363wKev7

#ELB: The Kagan-Kavanaugh Dispute Over “Suspicions” of Ballots Arriving after Election Day “Flipping” Election Results https://t.co/vjuqSTBzq2

Kavanaugh stmt that decision to override Wisc vote-counting deadline extension is to avoid "suspicions of impropriety that can ensue if 1000s of absentee ballots flow in after election day" prioritizes effects of specious voter fraud claims over voters' will expressed in ballots https://t.co/diDS6qwjTL

In my city, Baltimore, most private schools have the lower grades back full time, and high school back btwn 2-5 days/week. Meanwhile, all public schools remain virtual, as they are in nearly the entire state. That's just the way it is now. Some kids go to school, others don't.

This is an excellent video featuring @NYTnickc that covers a ton of ground including the crucial overlap of covid deniers, QAnon and election misinformation https://t.co/dJTbPH6mo4

While we are on the subject, (some of you are on other subjects, which are, well, subjects we have covered a bit) IF it's just the two of you this @tejalrao adaptation is SO indulgent, delicious good for cold nights etc. Take my word for it! https://t.co/EzJWSDUCq9

It's raining. What's everyone cooking/baking today? My latest, which I wish you would all come take away now: https://t.co/GOo4Z6NWi3

NEW: Schools do not seem to be stoking community transmission of the coronavirus, according to data emerging from random testing in the United States and Britain. Elementary schools especially seem to seed remarkably few infections. https://t.co/8ghdOQQc5d

It seems increasingly like the choice to keep elementary schools closed in places where the virus is contained and there are school safety measures in place is no longer grounded in science. https://t.co/Mr8iqwmB0T
