I spoke w/ Officer Goodman a few days ago. I thanked him for his cool head in the midst of unbelievable pressure! We also laughed about our sock battles. Check out this old video of us. He’s a national hero, & he’s got the flyest sock game on the U.S. Capitol Police Force! https://t.co/OwQSJv5PAm

Thank you to everyone who’s reached out, if I haven’t written you back - I am ok and taking time off social media with my family. https://t.co/lr150FDlEH

As I stood feet from Trump supporters breaking into the Capitol today with bats and poles, calling police "traitors" and forcing Congress to evacuate, I couldn't help but recall when protesters were dispersed with blunt force, tear gas and Blackhawks last June.

Cramer stood firm, saying he could not in “clear conscience” go against his reading of the Constitution. Several people in the group left downcast, but not before holding their hands out to offer a prayer that the country not “crumble” h/t to @erinschaff https://t.co/HIecrfDiso

Over the past few weeks, I interviewed and photographed five different people around the city who shared the same feeling as me. They welcomed me into their solitude and trusted me with their feelings, allowing me to share their stories with the world. https://t.co/qEMG04S8ZF
