Also worth a reminder of the great words of Maya Angelou on what to do at all times.

Be the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.

EBM, not emotion, is the tool to tell you when to change.

Ask yourself why the govt posted its Covid social care plan at 9.29pm on a Fri night. Could it be that there are NO guarantees on weekly testing for care homes, nor guaranteed PPE supplies for staff, nor on forcible discharge of COVID cases to care homes? https://t.co/IlgBujeafj

New from SAGE committee: "SAGE is concerned that the current doubling time could be as quick as every 7 days nationally, and potentially even faster in some areas of the country" #Covid19UK

Of course then they become dependent on your help and it takes ages to wean them off it.

Dawned on me last night that critical care organ support is basically like helping with homework. "Not like that, try this..." "OK I'll help you a bit with this..." "OK I'll do this and you do that..." "Oh just give it here I'll do it".

Inspired by the recent #WorldSepsisDay we have a new #LightningLearning on how Acute Confusion could be a sign of Red Flag Sepsis, particularly in younger patients. If you suspect this in a patient, the ‘Sepsis Six’ care bundle should be considered a time-critical intervention ⏱ https://t.co/IkiCZ9fZSn

The system that is labelled “NHS test and trace” has hardly anything to do with the NHS. Each fragment of this system is contracted out to big private companies that often turn to subcontractors. @chakrabortty in The Guardian https://t.co/9NmUu6ce4z

New contact tracing data for Wales week 6-12 Sept - 95% cases reached - 88% of their contacts reached - 92% contacts reached by 24 hrs, 98% by 48 hours This is what a #worldbeating contact tracing system looks like, run by #local authorities & public health teams #COVID19Wales
