Fantastic all-Wales involvement at our fourth annual Child Health Seminar yesterday. There's inspiring progress in developing a children’s rights approach across the health services. Thanks to all those who attended. #HealthRights20 https://t.co/HbPh7q6lnr

We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the @childcomwales seminar yesterday. It is great to see that so much is being done to embed children's rights into practice in health. Thank you to the Chair of @BAYouthNHS for sharing an update on their valuable work for @SwanseabayNHS https://t.co/8TV9NYbzzw

How much do you know about the seismic changes coming to our children’s education? @seneddcype Chair @lynne_neagle writes about the Curriculum & Assessment (Wales) Bill, which could change what and how children in Wales are taught for generations to come https://t.co/VG0PkZEInO

Today's the day! Our first ever national advertising campaign goes live this evening. We've had funding from @WelshGovernment to help find adoptive families for children across Wales who are waiting the longest to be adopted. #ImagineWhereYouCouldTakeThem https://t.co/PUlLxe5Fug

Byddwn hefyd yn adolygu penderfyniad @LlywodraethCym oedi gwneud newidiadau rheoleiddio i gefnogi plant sy'n cael eu haddysg yn y cartref a phlant mewn ysgolion annibynnol. Cliciwch isod ar gyfer mwy o wybodaeth am y gwaith yma. https://t.co/fECPbZgpYt

Dros yr wythnosau nesaf, byddwn yn arddangos profiadau grwpiau gwahanol o bobl ifanc o'r pandemig trwy gyhoeddi adroddiadau thematig. Mae hyn yn cynnwys plant BAME, plant gydag anabledd, a phobl ifanc 15-18 oed.

Wrth i rai ardaloedd yng Nghymru ail-gyflwyno mesurau clo, mae'n atgoffa ni nad yw'r pandemig drosodd. Felly, mae angen diogelu a hybu hawliau plant mwy nag erioed.

Mae'r adroddiad hefyd yn dangos sut rydyn ni fel swyddfa wedi addasu wrth ymateb i'r cyfnod heriol hwn. Mae hyn yn cynnwys gwrando ar bron i 24,000 o blant a phobl ifanc, a datblygu ein Hwb Gwybodaeth Coronafeirws. https://t.co/9e6U6pQtZc

Yn ein hadroddiad, rydyn yn dangos ble rydyn ni wedi gweithio gyda'r Llywodraeth ac eraill i ddiogelu hawliau plant. Rydyn ni wedi neud hyn trwy ymateb i bryderon y Pwyllgor ar Hawliau'r Plentyn @UNHumanRights ar ddechrau'r pandemig.

Heddiw rydyn ni wedi cyhoeddi 'Coronafeirws a Ni', adroddiad sy'n tanlinellu rhai heriau i hawliau plant o ganlyniad i'r pandemig, a'n barn ni ar sut mae @LlywodraethCym a gwasanaethau cyhoeddus arall wedi ymateb. https://t.co/8m360JPfqz

We’ll also reviewing @WelshGovernment decision to pause regulatory changes to support home educated children and children learning in independent schools. For more information on this work, click the link below. https://t.co/Xup1CCqTqL

Over the coming weeks we’ll be shining a light on the experiences of different groups of children and young people during the pandemic through a series of thematic reports. This includes BAME children, children with a disability, and 15-18 year olds.

As some areas of Wales return to a form of lockdown, it’s a reminder that the pandemic is far from over. As a result, children’s rights need protecting and promoting more than ever.

The report also shows how we have an office have adapted to this challenging period. This included listening to nearly 24,000 children and young people as part of the Coronavirus and Me survey and developing our Coronavirus Information Hub. https://t.co/xN0iCC5qxs

In the report, we show where we’ve worked with Government and others to protect children’s rights. We’ve done this by addressing the concerns raised by the @UNHumanRights Committee on the Rights of the Child at the beginning of the pandemic.
