The onset of the Northeast #Monsoon is a few days away. What can we expect from this year's northeast monsoon? Can we expect more winter precipitation in #India? Find out my opinion in this video. https://t.co/1YIAlEt6Zg

Post-noon thunderstorms are expected to continue across Madhya #Maharashtra & #Konkan until 26 October. Thundershowers are expected in Solapur, Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Pune, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad & Nashik districts. Some effect is anticipated in Mumbai-MMR.

The southwest #monsoon has now withdrawn from half of #India & a rapid withdrawal is expected in the next week.

All phases of #BiharElections2020 are likely going to witness dry weather conditions.

The weather will be dry in most of Vidarbha & Marathwada from 20 Oct. However, post-noon thunderstorms & cloud cover will continue in Nanded, Latur, Osmanabad, Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur, Satara, Konkan, Mumbai-MMR, Satara, Pune, Dhule, Nashik & Nandurbar districts until 22-23 Oct

The stalled #monsoon's withdrawal in #India will resume from this coming week. The monsoon should withdraw from #Maharashtra by 25 October as per the official criteria.

Not surprised to see this plot showing weekly rainfall anomalies (ending on 14 Oct) in all districts of #Maharashtra. One can clearly estimate how bad this rainfall must have been for harvested/ready to harvest kharif crops. https://t.co/Zbypm7kQd9

Localised flooding is possible in the aforementioned districts of Marathwada and Madhya #Maharashtra.

#MumbaiRains will make a comeback between 14 and 16 Oct. #Mumbai and the MMR can expect moderate rainfall in this period along with cloud cover. Note this forecast will be updated as per the situation.

Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in southern parts of #Maharashtra - Nanded, Latur, Osmanabad, Solapur, Sangli, Kolhapur, Satara, Beed, southern Ahmadnagar & Pune districts on 13 & 14 Oct. #Konkan & other areas of the state will also get rainfall.

A tropical depression has formed over the Bay of Bengal and it will cross coastal parts of #AndhraPradesh early on 13 Oct. North coastal Andhra Pradesh, most of Telangana and northern #Karnataka will get heavy rainfall (i.e over 100 mm/day) on 13 Oct. https://t.co/xBniMrvfEQ

#Maharashtra is heading towards another year of post-#monsoon season #Kharif damage. Cloud cover & thunderstorms until 20 October are likely going to cause a lot of agricultural damage (mainly to cotton and soybean).

When will the #monsoon exit from #Mumbai and #Maharashtra? Find out my views in this article in ⁦@HTMumbai⁩. https://t.co/D5rFUcvxSe

A rare waterspout was spotted off the coast of #Mumbai on October 5. I share my views with @HTMumbai on this event and the formation of such waterspouts. https://t.co/lpILdNILwG

It seems that a new category of well-marked low-pressure systems has been introduced this year.

The @Indiametdept has not recorded any #monsoon depression or deep depression during this year's southwest monsoon season. Thus, 2020 has officially joined the list of no-depression years (2002, 2010 and 2012). https://t.co/ak57IqjOcL
