3: Compile a style guide. How you say something is just as important as what you're saying. Spend some time establishing your tone of voice, vocabulary, and words to avoid.

Note: Sometimes posting on the fly is needed but before you press “post”, make sure you double check spelling and grammar, ensure any links work, and if you’re using any images that aren’t your own, that you credit the owner.

2: Have a plan. Knowing what you're posting, when, and on what platform will ensure sure you're saying everything you want to say. It also takes the stress away of coming up with posts on the fly, and saves time.

1: Engage first, convert later. While there’s a time and a place for product posts, remember that the entire point of social media is to connect with and engage your followers. Only once you’ve done this can you successfully convert a follower into a customer.
