Boom! Alaska to New Zealand in one go... Bar-tailed Godwit 4BWWY arrives after 14 day flight, 13,000km, overflying many tempting stopovers. The fabulous wetlands of Miranda, in the Firth of Thames Important Bird Area are her winter home, and her friends are there to welcome. https://t.co/wSmK8vE5fH https://t.co/yFJqnizupL

So, 42,000 licensed hunters in #Cyprus are rattled by a handful of bird protection volunteers (us) for monitoring compliance with the hunting law 🤔 make of that what you will ... https://t.co/mtrI893vRX

The next member of our team to say 'hi' to is Charlie 👋 Charlie's working hard to help us Save #Worcestershire's Heathlands ☺️ In a flukey twist of timing, you can see more of Charlie by booking onto his talk tomorrow night 😀 https://t.co/WIGPOiFX0w https://t.co/eyym5Bej7l

Stonechat 2 female at Mancetter, 2 Lesser Redpoll old Purley chase golfcourse. Yellow wagtail over and a light passage of Meadow Pipit

But on the more positive side, 2018 had the first record of Dusky Warbler for the County, two record high counts of Hawfinch in the National influx and the discovery of a large winter roost of Red Kite 👍 https://t.co/k2LDMQABU0

Coming soon ..the 2018 Annual Report, showing mixed fortunes for Birds in Warks. Continuing high concern for Curlew, Willow Tit, Turtle Dove and Tree Sparrow 🧐

Checked in on the the works @WestMidBirdClub Belvide Reserve at lunchtime... the re-profiling of the large area in front of the Andrew Chappell Hide is taking shape, with one eye on the weather forecast for tomorrow morn 🧐. 🌧 😀 https://t.co/qz7w1YHIlA

I’ve walked 107 miles, counting 1,189 butterflies along the way I’m doing this: 1. To show YOU their beauty 2. Because the number of butterflies indicate the health of our world 3. So that you might consider retweeting & donating? 😊 https://t.co/23Td5FFWIK #Butterflies4HopeUK https://t.co/ca0EUst3vR

A small part of an ENORMOUS flock of house martins last weekend in the Malvern Hills, fuelling up on inverts before they take to the skies & leave us for another year. Herefordshire's old villages still provide many nesting sites, whilst pockets of low pesticide farms yield 🦟🦟 https://t.co/R4f5tqGHRD
