Just seen a rumour linking Fabian Delph linked with a return to Leeds @LUFC He's such a good player, always reliable and has a lovable attitude so it'd be tough to say goodbye but if he wants to play at Elland Road with his boyhood club then @Everton can't stand in the way.

Of course, there are so many other players I'd love to see the back of. But they're probably only worth getting rid of if we can make an accounting profit on them (take in more in a transfer fee and salary savings than their accounting hit if they leave).

Pennington, Dowell, and Baningime basically cost nothing, but the others cost somewhere around 31mil a year combined. Letting them leave for nothing and eating the accounting losses would probably save somewhere around 24mil.

This is yet another year we need to get the deadwood out, unfortunately some of those players are relatively news signings. 1st team players I'd let go at any price: Pennington Delph Besic Dowell Baningime Tosun Sandro Bolasie

I think this is probably an unpopular opinion at this point, but I think we should only make 3 signings for sure this summer. 2 CMs and a right-winger. If we sell a player (that plays), obviously we should replace them, but 3 great signings will be much better than 5 good ones.

Is it just me, or is Davies actually doing things today?

I’ve honestly lost count of the amount of times I’ve seen this shithouse do this. Never wants the ball, always directs it back or sideways, no accountability, no responsibility, 0 ideas. He epitomises everything that’s wrong with this football club https://t.co/ukfbM5IA1n

I'd also sell Sigurddson for anything. Don't think he'll go anywhere cause he wouldn't want a pay cut, but an absolute waste of space. Between salary and transfer fee, he costs ~£14mil a year. We'd break even on his costs next year if we sold him for just £4mil. https://t.co/lTAWY3xb9r

I'd put the vast majority of whatever the budget is to signing as good a midfield as possible, even if it means staying put with most of the other positions.

The defense is OK and can be very good in some set-ups. Digne, Holgate, Keane/Mina, Coleman/Kenny will be fine.

Richarlison, DCL, Kean, Gordon, Iwobi, Bernard competing for the 4 attacking spots really isn't that bad a group of mostly young players. I think all the wingers need to get better, but they're getting nothing from the midfield, so I have a bit of sympathy for them.

Part of me thinks Everton has a dark few years coming up, and part of me thinks we're a good midfield away from actually being quality.

This, btw, is classic Everton. Whenever we have a couple of decent results and a game comes up where you look at the table and think "if we win this, it's on you know", we invariably play shite and thats been true for absolutely years

I’d put on Gordon for Sigurdsson at the half and try to actually take the game. They haven’t done shit to stop us.

1-0 down and it looks like we’re trying to see out a 3-0 win.

(Obviously) Have no idea about the Mckennie rumors, but our scouts and Brands would have seen plenty of him while checking on Kenny throughout the season.

This really seems to happen to man city more times than would be predicted by chance. It wouldn’t be terribly surprising if generic xG models can’t account for man city’s unique match dynamics. https://t.co/azoWaxKcEu

For the first time since Lukaku left, our front line is pretty well set. DCL, Richarlison, Kean, Iwobi, Gordon should all be better next year than this and Bernard is just in his prime.

That's definitely a game we lose in years past. Really good result. Big 2 weeks coming up.

Marco Asensio is the best right winger in Real Madrid history.
