Thank you Commisioner @richardcorcoran for ensuring that all Florida children are given the opportunity for a full educational experience this fall and for continuing to empower families with choices.

Great job @richardcorcoran! Students deserve the opportunity to have all education opportunities available to them this fall. https://t.co/lFZlrxREwO

The Turnaround Schools Supplemental Allocation provides 50m for wrap around services for traditional public schools that need some extra help. This is the second year for this investment. When someone tells you Florida only focuses on school choice options, they are wrong! https://t.co/xhd7UxmRaF

More 20/21 budget highlights: the good people of Bronson in Levy County finally have a fire station. This 950k along with last year’s 900k will get it done. Never would have been built without state help. The people of Levy will be much safer. https://t.co/m6P3O9gVjy

More 20/21 budget highlights: over 11m recurring dollars for problem solving courts through Florida. These are drug courts, mental health courts, veterans courts. They are working so we keep expanding! https://t.co/SIJdZPSHkP

Some highlights from the 20/21 budget: new K-12 schools for four rural, financially constrained counties-Levy, Bradford, Gilchrist and Baker. And a new STEM building for Florida Gateway College in Lake City. Great year for North Florida education! Long overdue investments. https://t.co/Kg9RzxtdW9

I am excited that @GovRonDeSantis has signed The Clean Waterways Act. @debbie_mayfield & I worked on this legislation extensively for years. This is the most comprehensive water policy in years and will put us on the right track to improve water quality throughout the state.

Great work @debbie_mayfield and @bobbypaynefl! This is a real legacy for 2 champions of our environment! https://t.co/tP13IBSh23

@Rob_Bradley Here is what Sen. Hutson told the NSF: “...you’re not going to get state dollars because we are not going to spend millions of dollars inviting people down into South Florida areas and then they realize they can’t buy sunscreen to protect your children from harmful UV rays.”

I am the 2020 bill sponsor. I spoke several times publicly to committees and to the press about the premise for the bill. Again, what you said is flat wrong. You claim the bill had a certain premise, and the bill simply didn’t have such a premise. https://t.co/S7A3aZ0y77

Quoted @mlafferty1

This bill operated under the false premise that sunscreen would be unavailable under a Key West-type ban of products that contain certain ingredients. Not true. Alternative sunscreen products are available and on the market. No one would have had to go without sunscreen. https://t.co/WJuPC2r632

Florida Dermatologists, who formally as a group supported this bill, would disagree with your false statement about the bill’s premise. My daughter, who used some of that so-called “safe” sunscreen last week and got burned, would also disagree. But hey, go w/ lazy narrative. https://t.co/uhBbwf5xWU

The bill did not operate under that premise. Not once did I say that or even imply it. It operated under the premise that everyone should have all types of sunscreen available to them in the Sunshine State, and junk science and virtue signaling should not drive these decisions. https://t.co/uhBbwf5xWU
