It may make a striking headline, but it is false to definitively say the UK is the worst affected country in Europe - every country records it differently. Comparisons on figures are pointless for now. It's frustrating to see this widely reported - we just don't know.
@ProfKarolSikora Excess mortality is excess mortality & hard to argue with. MCDC's are drawn up under WHO international rules & use ICD classification but can accept testing so diagnoses may be different but UK was under- not overtesting so UK #COVID19 record lamentable &made mistakes cf others.
