Today for #VacationNC we take in the views at Lake Junaluska, N.C. in Haywood Co. The lake has strong ties to the Methodist church going back to 1913 when the Second General Missionary Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South visited before the lake was even filled. https://t.co/wPyDYEHOBD
This week’s #VacationNC takes us to some local watering holes. First stop, Lake Susan at Montreat, NC. This lake was a popular locale for visitors especially in the early 1900s. Stunt Day brought visitors from all around to this man made lake each year. https://t.co/o8AWQjWmXX https://t.co/1XkXOYVgG1
