If the Titanic sank today, this is how the anti-mask crowd would sound like 😂 https://t.co/4wakeWvxwu

My lessons learned on the COVID front lines: only a sustainable social justice lens will save us the next time around. https://t.co/7padIyHN9N

Members of the exonerated Central Park Five help paint #BlackLivesMatter on the street in front of Trump Tower on New York’s Fifth Avenue. https://t.co/Cw2AB2zhb9

Dual province licensed MD problems: opaque rules regarding when I'm required to submit a Certificate of Professional Conduct when travelling for work. This could easily be fixed with national licensure, not that it's in the financial best interest of any of the Colleges to do so

As long as the CDC’s guidelines are suggestions and not requirements, America will continue to struggle with this pandemic. Sadly, Black and Latino communities will continue to bear the brunt of #COVID19. Tens of thousands of people will die.

This report is a reminder that AMR is not a theoretical future problem - it’s a problem that has already had a devastating impact. Every year in Canada alone, it is estimated that AMR kills 5400 people, costs our healthcare system >$1 billion, and reduces our GDP by >$2 billon. https://t.co/Zo4WvDXQm6

0 COVID +'ve patients in the ICU for several days!! 3 COVID +'ve patients in the rest of the hospital!! I know that could change so quickly but I want to pause and thank the incredible people @NYGH_News at the front lines and throughout the organization 1/3

This week has been unrelenting with the sudden deaths of beautiful people. My heart is so unbearably heavy. Suicide, overdose, Illness. I’m thinking of so many trying to wade through grief in my community and circles of work and friends. There is no end in sight 💔

Them: Where are you from? Me: Canada Them: No, where are you REALLY from? Me: ...Canada It's not the curiosity that offends me, it's that by denying my identity, you place me outside of 'you' & who 'you' think IS Canadian. I👏🏾 Am👏🏾 Canadian👏🏾 #microagressions #racism

My Covid-19 symptoms have lasted 100-plus days. I'm not alone - STAT https://t.co/Wiojh72OYn

"I write with the hope that even one more patient who has been struggling with prolonged Covid-19 symptoms may not feel so alone." As we rush for treatments & vaccines we can't forget the emotional impact this disease has on patients and those close to them. https://t.co/RQyLauiHhO

From @KerryReads, a take so hot it will stop you cold: Dads need to become public advocates for working parents. https://t.co/iGwSi0gNnQ

Big facts: “It’s women who are writing the op-eds and sharing posts on social media about the urgent necessity to safely reopen schools and childcare facilities.” V. hard to imagine that a lot of men are not seeing the op-eds at all. V. easy to imagine they see and scroll past. https://t.co/1wrD3b88zQ

A symbol of racist violence and 4 yrs of ignoring the issue. What can the noose incident in AB teach us about medicine's deeper problems with bigotry? A short THREAD https://t.co/jvHR3U8ED9

If Maxwell and Finnegan can wear their masks and be happy about it you can too... https://t.co/cjCaXC42e7

Restaurants and bars routinely use dress codes that target urban apparel (no sportswear!) to exclude blk patrons (in addition to charging more for drinks blk ppl order more), and no one bats an eye. But ask people to wear a mask to keep from killing others, and they flip out.
