Both mindsets have nothing to do with how smart we are or how much we know. Dear Ethiopia, it will be in our best interest to be scouts rather than soldiers. We are in this together. End

Scout’s mindset -Need to know what really is there as accurately as possible even if unpleasant What makes soldier’s mindset? -Defensiveness -Tribalism What makes a scout’s mindset? -Curiosity -Openness -Being grounded 2/n

https://t.co/gBfs2ASLLT Teasers: Soldier’s mindset -Actions stemming from deeply engrained reflexes rooted in a need to protect yourself and your side -Unconscious motivations where desires and fears shape the way we interpret information AKA motivated reasoning 1/n

Got a letter back. A bit disappointed with the substance and tone but it’s still a reply. As long as the pens don’t tire, there’s always room for hope.
To make the story whole though, these are bits and pieces of conversations I had with Egyptians the letter resonated with💚 https://t.co/AIDFDDyapi https://t.co/BNE3QbMoC8
