Remember asbestos? Seems like the Scranton School District first talked about that years ago-- not just five months ago. Board has approved asbestos remediation throughout the district, to be completed before students return.

Rosemary Boland, president of the Scranton Federation of Teachers, has asked the administration for transparency and to seek the input of teachers in creating the plan for returning to school. Many rumors have circulated-- SSD has said nothing official about a hybrid plan.
