When circumstances put pressure on you, put pressure on the kingdom. Said another way, when life presses you, press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God (Phil 3:14).

Shepherds labor to meet the needs of their flock. Jesus came as your Shepherd, that is, He came to meet the needs of His people.

Why should we try to buttress the body of Christ with certainty when God intentionally has us dangling in uncertainty?

Every setback of the kingdom of God carries an inherent prophetic assurance that a greater kingdom advance is coming in the days ahead. We know this because of Isaiah 9:7, “Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end.”

When God visits His people, once again they will see His works and say, “We never saw anything like this!” (Mark 2:12).

God’s word to you is, “Do not be afraid,” when “you seek Jesus who was crucified” (Matt 28:5).

Put Proverbs 21:21 on your radar for your 2021: “He who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness and honor.”

My friend Dan Bohi told me that he tries to slow down so that he can catch up with Jesus.

Wisdom trumps strength. Prov 21:22

The natural religion of the human heart is self-righteousness. Kathy Keller

Is the worship in your church more than just song-deep? Or, when the song stops does the worship stop?

If you struggle with temptation, let David’s words guide you: “I kept myself from my iniquity” (Ps 18:23).

If I’m inflated by your praise, I’ll be deflated by your rejection. (from my book, Dealing with the rejection and praise of man)

“To punish the righteous is not good” (Prov 17:26), but our nation is accelerating down that slippery slope.

God is not in covenant with America, but He is in covenant with Israel, and with those who believe in the sacrifice of His Son.

One reason Jesus said that “all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone” (Rev 21:8) is not merely because they lied on their tax return, but because they lied about the truth of who He is and what He has done on the cross.

Salvation must be earned. You must earn the payment if you are to redeem your soul. If you’re not able to earn it, then the Gospel of Jesus is great news: He earned it for you! All we do now is believe in His labor on the cross.

When Jesus was pierced, a fountain was opened that gave life to the world. Similar things can happen through your piercing. That which wounded you can release life to your generation.
