What we call "recovery" is really "rewiring" or "retraining". The brain is a malleable organ. It adapts to the reality we create in our minds. In fact, that's what's causing your current suffering. By modifying how we perceive reality we cause the brain to adapt. #anxiety

I'm thirsting for a beer and reminiscing about good times I had when out drinking, were they good coz I was boozin #RecoveryPosse

Had 3 pints today, that was the limit I set myself, maybe a little too much with the meds I'm on, but I remember the whole night and I didn't put myself in harm's way #RecoveryPosse #bipolar #MentalHealth #Depakote #Venlafaxine #Olanazapine

Big test this weekend, going to the pub with a few mates, Friday and Saturday #RecoveryPosse

The worst lies are the lies you tell yourself

The drink is not controlling me, I am controlling the drink #RecoveryPosse

Currently taking 7 tablets for my #Bipolar thinking is a bit fuzzy

I had a can of a 2.8% beer yesterday and half a stout, should I leave the group #RecoveryPosse

Had 2 pints of 2.8% beer yesterday and today I feel spaced out, I'm guessing it's because I am on 20mgs olanzapine 75mg Venlafaxine and 500mgs Depakote #bipolar #mentalillness #RecoveryPosse

Mate just text, he's enjoying a beer, makes me want one #RecoveryPosse

97 days sober

So tempted to have one beer

Gone for a cherry pepsi

Thinking about having a low alcohol beer

No amount of me trying to explain myself was doing any good. I didn't even know what was going on inside of me, so how could I have explained it to them? https://t.co/69jkYTRUa7

Experienced #SensoryOverload towed the end of the working day, just listening to #RobertPlant to chill me out & it's working a treat #bipolar

6 weeks controlled drinking, having 2 beers a week and the last 7 weeks alcohol free #RecoveryPosse

13 weeks without a proper drink x #RecoveryPosse
