To explore colorism in Africa, British-Nigerian actress Beverly Naya has produced a documentary titled "Skin." Unlike racism, colorism is the discrimination of people based on skin shades and is prevalent among people of the same ethnic or racial group. https://t.co/lHHGBi1jVx
Just called my grandma to tell her that she’s a superstar now and she started laughing and blushing. Awww 😍🤣❤️ She said I should help her to thank you all for supporting her granddaughter’s documentary. 😂❤️ #SkinNetflix

Please everyone especially my darkskin sunshines, go and watch skin on Netflix. It explores the impact colorism has in our societies. Thank you @BeverlyNaya for this.
This Skin documentary is gold . @BeverlyNaya 🤗❤
‘skin’, a netflix documentary by @BeverlyNaya touches on too many intersections of social conditioning frm environment to industry as well as psychological implications of how we perceive skin...not half way in but so glad content like this exists to begin exploring these beliefs
Great work @BeverlyNaya and the team. Thank you for the gift of SKIN. Cheers 🥂 to many more.
