BREAKING NEWS: Victorian politician says what his constituency want to hear. https://t.co/tBSh3Wg7UP
Why is it every off-season that we have some rediculous idea of reinventing the game. Surely we consider home grand finals before wanting to have 3 grand finals. #CommonSense
@TimLaneSport Honestly the GF needs to be movable just for supporter equity - so supporters outside Melbourne can actually attend. Fewer than half of Swans and Crows members even went in their recent ticket ballots. Organising interstate travel with 6 days notice is just too hard for many.
@3AWisfootball I thought saying the sentence, “best of three AFL Grand Final” aloud was enough to shut the door on the idea.
I though saying the sentence “the AFL Grand Final is always played in one state to the disadvantage to teams from all other states” aloud was enough to shut the door on the idea. https://t.co/dblLa3PBn2
@flizzles I'll agree, but none of the clubs ever came out publicly criticising the deal to lock in the Grand Final earlier this year. Why not? Why did Don Pyke push for a best of three before they even signed this new deal? Why didn't he push for change at the end of the old deal?
