We LOVE Dr. Lee de Mora's classical take on climate data. Live performances, musical collabs, Christmas number 1 campaign? There's so much potential! #SciComm #Climate @PlymouthMarine https://t.co/A145b1eRgj

Apparently it is #NationCodingWeek . I may be a bit late to the party but as I am doing a major overhaul of my code today. I thought I would take you along! First an introduction: Hi, my name is Freya & I am doing a PhD in Radar Meteorology & Aeroecology #PhDLife #WomenWhoCode https://t.co/fc7B04EK95

In poorly ventilated homes with significant sources, #AirPollution levels can be much higher indoors than outdoors, says Professor Ally Lewis. Every house is different, which means that pollution can vary up to 1000x between two side-by-side homes 🏑🏠 https://t.co/2WC5DzFEnK

Our meeting on air quality has startedπŸš—πŸ - watch live as we take evidence from Prof Alistair Lewis @AtmosScience and Prof Eloise Scotford @UCL in the first session πŸ“Ίhttps://t.co/zmrsu2CEOO

We're excited for #BlackInAtmosphere today Fab discussion lined up, and lovely people in #BiGRollCall Join @BlkInGeoscience for panel on barriers facing Black atmospheric scientists with: @DrShepherd2013 @MariaB_PhD @MichaelBaidu1 Today 4pm BST ‡️ https://t.co/Veb4lrIdjc https://t.co/BBbUh543t6

Which product do you think releases the most pollution during use? We quantified emissions from these personal products, and our methods could support manufacturers to make products with lower impact on air quality. Find out ‡️ #WorldCleanAirDay https://t.co/UXqaIwqtAg

On #WorldCleanAirDay, we're spotlighting growing research into everyday products that release air pollution.

Scientists are asking whether a typical morning routine might leave you with clean hair - but dirty air.

Blue skies outside?

We're asking to see the skies outside your window today as part of the first #WorldCleanAirDay today

Share a picture, along with one way we can reduce pollution to show we value the air we breathe

We'll start - πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ walk or cycle where possible https://t.co/ByOn779eaG

We're back in the skies! ☁️

After nearly six months in the hangar, our research aircraft and reduced flight team soared up to 35,000ft as part of an instrument test run last week ‡️

You're whizzing through the sky at 200mph inside a flying laboratory ✈️ How would you measure the temperature and pressure outside? It's up to talented scientists like Dr Hannah Price to overcome this challenge... #Aviation #AvGeek https://t.co/XE1McCUyDc

Apparently, sticking a thermometer out of the window won't work... πŸ˜πŸ›©οΈ Dr Hannah Price provides fascinating and unique insight into how scientists measure temperature and pressure while travelling the skies at 200mph ‡️ https://t.co/OkFQ8ZK7Jn

As part of the ICECAPS initiative, jointly funded by @NERCscience and @NSF, Heather will be looking at clouds forming above Greenland. Clouds and aerosols can affect the melting ice below, and in turn, sea level rise 🌊

Heather will be staying at Greenland's summit - around 3,200 meters above sea level - until February as part of a dedicated crew πŸ”οΈ Interestingly, Greenland is the only permanent ice sheet outside Antarctica, and plays a big role in sea level rise.

Toughest commute you've ever had? πŸ™ˆ

This is Heather Guy, who just made it to Greenland's summit as part of a big effort to keep observations running - despite all that's going on.

From medical tests to aborted landings and government approvals, Heather's journey is complete! https://t.co/DkGwnNh8S3

You might have heard of John Tyndall and Guy Callendar, both central figures in the history of climate science. But, what about female scientist Eunice Foote? https://t.co/8wtTEg9sFB
