@AdamSerwer Trump and the GOP are both extremely economically populist and extremely economically elitist. Their brand and appeal is populist. Their actions are elitist.

@AdamSerwer Their (weak) counter argument would be that it was actually progressive when you look at who SALT repeals hurt. Basically, increasing upper middle class + lowering wealthy rates somehow equals populism, once again demonstrating that owning the libs is the first and last goal.
